Mens Shoot Out

Huh? What? First Time?

The Men's Shootout is a time set aside each year for men and boys to enjoy a day of shooting, fun, food and fellowship. Just hanging out and being "guys" This is becoming more and more difficult in a world that is using every excuse to rob us of our masculinity. But most important (and our primary purpose in hosting the event) we believe this is an excellent opportunity to invite men and boys who might never attend church to hear the good news of Christ's saving grace!

Is there an age limit?

Nope... if you've got a real life little guy or just a guy who's young at heart bring em along. Everyone gets to have fun today shooting, eating, and hanging out!

Do I need my own gun and ammo?

In short yes and no.... We definitely recommend that you bring your own legally registered firearm with you and a plethora of shells but if you don't have one that's ok too - many of the guys that come love to share and we always seems to have enough to go around. You can just come and watch and eat too!

How much does it cost?

The men's shootout and dinner is free as a result of voluntary donations; purchase of raffle tickets for prizes that are donated by corporate and private sponsors; and through local church men's ministries.

What kind of food do we have?

Oh boy.... so glad you asked... We usually have a rockin' Steak dinner with all the fixins such as the Setter's own special BBQ sauce, hearty chili, fresh salad, and baked potatoes.. all followed by some kind of tasty desert.

Do I have to be apart of the church to come?

Not at all... we would love for you to come no matter if you attend church or not - but we'd ask you stay for the whole event if you do come. We wouldn't want you to miss out on the grubbin' food and chillax time after the shoot. I mean hey - it's free after all.

How can you support this ministry?

We hold a raffle at each event that helps raise money for the following year. We of course also accept monetary donations along with equipment and supplies donations.
